Arlington Summer Wedding

Steve & Jessica were such a joy to work with. They had an August wedding in Arlington with family and friends from all over the country. The classic ceremony was held at Saint Maria Goretti Church. We loved all the details throughout the church, but I the organ was by far my favorite. The ceremony was beautiful and they stayed behind to take pictures with us while the guest went ahead to the reception.

The reception was at a nearby La Quinta Inn & Suites. Everyone welcomed the bride and groom with a bubble entrance. The first dance was our favorite so far, they did such a great job! They had a classic sit down dinner, with a place on the table to write message to the bride and groom. The DJ walked them through the newly wed game on the dance floor, and the rest of the night it was full with guest having a great time. The wedding planner they used to help with everything was Cloud Creative Events. We were thankful to get to be part of this great couples big day as they start their new life together.

Rivieria Maya Wedding

We could not be more excited for this sweet couple Ginger and Jimmy. I still can not believe their big day has already came and went.

This destination wedding took place at the Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Their goal was to make this a great time to spend with their close friends and family in a beautiful location, and they did just that. The girls started off the day getting ready at the spa with getting their hair and make up done. They finished up getting ready in a suite with their matching robes and a few drinks to celebrate. I loved the hangers that Ginger got for all the girls, I thought it was a great extra touch to add to the event.

The ceremony started in the evening and was situated in authentic Mayan ruins in the Riviera Maya. Everything was gorgeous. I loved that on her bouquet she added some of her dad's pins honor his memory. The guys looked sharp as Ginger's sister brought her down the aisle. The ceremony could not have been more gorgeous, even the ring bearer was left in tears.

They hosted a cocktail hour with an open bar while we took some pictures. Afterwards everyone enjoyed dinner. Ginger had a special spot reserved for her dad at the family table. To wrap up the night everyone had a great time on the dance floor with a live mariachi band. Even some of the local wild life showed up for the fun.

We can't thank Ginger & Jimmy enough for including us in telling their story. Feel free to check out their engagement photos and Ginger's bridals if you have not had the chance.

Abbey & Timothy's Fort Worth Wedding

We have had such a great time being part of this amazing couple's story. We started off the wedding day at a local Fort Worth church getting to spend time with the bride, groom, bridal party, and family. Everyone was in great spirits and excited for these two to tie the knot. I loved the robes the girls had when getting ready (for some reason the groomsmen did get these awesome gifts: ) . Before the ceremony the bride and groom made time to have one last prayer together before they walked down the aisle. The colors used to celebrate the wedding day in was a deep purple and gold. They had a classic ceremony and stayed back to take family photos while everyone else headed to the reception.  The reception took place at the Gladney Center for Adoption. The cake was amazing and there was plenty of dancing. To wrap up the day we got some shots of the bride and groom and let them head out to their honeymoon in Mexico.

Riviera Maya Bridal Session

It just felt like we wrapped up Ginger's engagement photos and then it was already time to fly off for the wedding and her Bridals. We did the bridal shoot around the resort where the wedding would be later that week, the Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Ginger took a break from having fun at this amazing resort and exploring the area to get in her dress and show off all the details of her beach wedding attire. She did a awesome job, and we loved the chance to do the bridals ahead of time at the same location as where the wedding would be.

I still can not get over how gorgeous her bouquet turned out and I don't think she could have had a better color combination. We are finishing  up the editing for the wedding photos so that we get a chance to share them not only with this great bride and groom, but with her friends and family as well.

Arbor Hills Engagement Shoot

We can not thank Brittany and Rory enough for being such great sports during this summer engagement shoot! We shot in Plano at the Arbor Hill Nature Preserve and it was HOT of course being June in Texas. To start off the shoot I proved my awesome navigation abilities and got us a little lost trying to find a bridge and went on a nice hike through the trails.

We had such a good time with them from start to finish though, not letting the temperature or elements get in the way. We loved getting to take advantage of the sunset at the preserve. We have said it before, but we truly have amazing clients that we can not wait for the next shoot. Their wedding will be coming up this fall at a ranch outside of Dallas.

Cross Creek Ranch Wedding

We love getting the opportunity to shoot at Cross Creek Ranch, it is one that never has let us down.  It is family owned & operated and they are always willing to help in every way. It is located in Parker, TX north of Dallas, and has a very secluded feel to it. The wedding party and the bride were great to work with and seemed to enjoy every part of the big day. The atmosphere of the wedding was relaxed from start to finish. It was an evening Friday ceremony, and the colors of the wedding were white on white. For the ceremony we loved that the grandfather played a piece for the newlyweds near the completion of the service.

For dinner they brought in Babes, which is always a favorite of mine. They had one of my favorite guest books hands down, it was a large wooden Texas that everyone had the chance to write a message. The centerpieces were all provided by the venue and looked great! I also loved the kids activity table they set up and that the bride even took a stop at to do some quick coloring. All in all the night went great, and we had a blast!

Downtown McKinney Engagement

We got to do this shoot a couple of weeks ago in Downtown McKinney and we could not have asked for better weather. Also, we were lucky enough for it not to be busy that evening in the square so it was very calm making it where we did not feel rushed. The couple was amazing and we had a blast the whole engagement shoot. I loved how they included her son in their shoot, and he seemed to love it just as much. He was such an awesome helper and loved learning about the cameras, we could definitely see how he could be a future photographer. This awesome couple will be saying “I do” this June and we will make sure to share the pictures!
