Aubrey Wedding at The Springs

I had the pleasure of meeting this awesome bride and groom months before the wedding, and I knew since then it was going to be great. Melissa, the bride, is a nurse and her groom, Kevin, is a local firefighter. They are such an awesome down to earth couple and are wonderful to work with. Their gorgeous wedding took place at THE SPRINGS in Aubrey, TX right outside of Denton. The venue is beautiful inside and out, and the team their does are great to work with. I had the chance to take pictures with the bride and bridesmaids in the bridal suite while Travis got to take some around the venue and with the guys. All the girls got matching robes and stemless campaign glasses, while the guys went the whiskey route.

When it was time for the ceremony everything went perfect as they got married under an arch they had put together of fresh flowers. Following the ceremony the guest went inside for cocktail hour while we got some shots of family, bridal party, and them of course. It was warm outside (imagine that in Texas) so we felt bad keeping the bride and groom outside too long in the heat, but we love the pictures they gave us from that time. The reception was decorated in gold, burlap, and pinks with custom touches everywhere. The DJ was able to keep the everyone on the dance floor most the night, and the night was wrapped up with a glow stick exit.

Proof Photography's Newest Addition

We are so excited to get to introduce to you are newest team member, Riley Jane! She was added to the team early November and she has been keeping us busy. We want to thank all our friends, family, and of course customers for their support during the last month. You can count on us sharing some more pictures of her and her sister in the near future. Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday!

Arlington Summer Wedding

Steve & Jessica were such a joy to work with. They had an August wedding in Arlington with family and friends from all over the country. The classic ceremony was held at Saint Maria Goretti Church. We loved all the details throughout the church, but I the organ was by far my favorite. The ceremony was beautiful and they stayed behind to take pictures with us while the guest went ahead to the reception.

The reception was at a nearby La Quinta Inn & Suites. Everyone welcomed the bride and groom with a bubble entrance. The first dance was our favorite so far, they did such a great job! They had a classic sit down dinner, with a place on the table to write message to the bride and groom. The DJ walked them through the newly wed game on the dance floor, and the rest of the night it was full with guest having a great time. The wedding planner they used to help with everything was Cloud Creative Events. We were thankful to get to be part of this great couples big day as they start their new life together.

Rivieria Maya Wedding

We could not be more excited for this sweet couple Ginger and Jimmy. I still can not believe their big day has already came and went.

This destination wedding took place at the Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Their goal was to make this a great time to spend with their close friends and family in a beautiful location, and they did just that. The girls started off the day getting ready at the spa with getting their hair and make up done. They finished up getting ready in a suite with their matching robes and a few drinks to celebrate. I loved the hangers that Ginger got for all the girls, I thought it was a great extra touch to add to the event.

The ceremony started in the evening and was situated in authentic Mayan ruins in the Riviera Maya. Everything was gorgeous. I loved that on her bouquet she added some of her dad's pins honor his memory. The guys looked sharp as Ginger's sister brought her down the aisle. The ceremony could not have been more gorgeous, even the ring bearer was left in tears.

They hosted a cocktail hour with an open bar while we took some pictures. Afterwards everyone enjoyed dinner. Ginger had a special spot reserved for her dad at the family table. To wrap up the night everyone had a great time on the dance floor with a live mariachi band. Even some of the local wild life showed up for the fun.

We can't thank Ginger & Jimmy enough for including us in telling their story. Feel free to check out their engagement photos and Ginger's bridals if you have not had the chance.

Abbey & Timothy's Fort Worth Wedding

We have had such a great time being part of this amazing couple's story. We started off the wedding day at a local Fort Worth church getting to spend time with the bride, groom, bridal party, and family. Everyone was in great spirits and excited for these two to tie the knot. I loved the robes the girls had when getting ready (for some reason the groomsmen did get these awesome gifts: ) . Before the ceremony the bride and groom made time to have one last prayer together before they walked down the aisle. The colors used to celebrate the wedding day in was a deep purple and gold. They had a classic ceremony and stayed back to take family photos while everyone else headed to the reception.  The reception took place at the Gladney Center for Adoption. The cake was amazing and there was plenty of dancing. To wrap up the day we got some shots of the bride and groom and let them head out to their honeymoon in Mexico.

Family Forney Photoshoot

This was our first time working with the McCall family, and it went awesome! They were such a  pleasure to work with. Their daughter and son could not have been easier little ones to shoot. We took the photos by the pond in their neighborhood in Forney. It was a warm day but it cooled off just enough near sunset for us to get these shots without anyone melting. Looking forward to the next shoot with them!

Riviera Maya Bridal Session

It just felt like we wrapped up Ginger's engagement photos and then it was already time to fly off for the wedding and her Bridals. We did the bridal shoot around the resort where the wedding would be later that week, the Occidental Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Ginger took a break from having fun at this amazing resort and exploring the area to get in her dress and show off all the details of her beach wedding attire. She did a awesome job, and we loved the chance to do the bridals ahead of time at the same location as where the wedding would be.

I still can not get over how gorgeous her bouquet turned out and I don't think she could have had a better color combination. We are finishing  up the editing for the wedding photos so that we get a chance to share them not only with this great bride and groom, but with her friends and family as well.

Dallas Arboretum Bridal Portraits

Of course Abbey looked gorgeous for her bridal shoot! We decided to do her bridals at Dallas Arboretum to take advantage of the gorgeous landscape that cover over 66 acres. She brought her mom and friend with her and we all got to explore the gardens together. Despite the pain of high heels and the heat of DFW everything went great!

This bridal shoot also gave Abbey a chance to try out how her hair style and how she wanted her make up before the wedding day. Next we get to share her big day with everyone! We are excited about the upcoming wedding pictures, but sad that this part of the journey is already wrapping up. Until then you can also check out Abbey's Engagement Shoot we did here early this spring.
