I can not tell you how happy I was to hear the news that this amazing woman got engaged. I had the opportunity to shoot her Senior photos years ago when she was in high school, so I could not be happier to get to shoot her awesome love story. Abbey found a perfect match in Timothy, and they leave no doubt in your mind the amazing things they will accomplish together. To start telling their story we decided to do their engagement shoot at the Dallas Arboretum. We shot it early on Valentines day so we could beat the crowd, and it turned out to be great. It started a little cool with Abbey stealing Timothy’s jacket between shots, but quickly warmed up. The entire shoot was a blast, from the squirrels leaping through the shots to Timothy always keeping Abbey on her toes. We can not wait to continue to share their story.
Meaghan & Billy tied the knot! We had a blast at this wedding. It was a modern wedding at the NYLO in Irving. The girls did a great job getting the venue ready with the great wedding planner (C&C Events and DJ), and the boys had a fun hanging out at the hotel. The bride did a first look with both her bridesmaids and her parents, but made the groom wait till she was walking down the aisle.
The ceremony took place inside the hotel, and afterwards they did a cocktail hour while we got to take some pics with the family and wedding party. They did a dance entrance with the wedding party, after that their guest did not stop dancing all night. Midway through the night the group played a fun game with the entire crowd, and did the traditional garter and bouquet throw. They wrapped up the night with a final dance and a sparkler exit. We can’t thank this couple for letting us be part of their big day. If you missed their Downtown McKinney Engagement shoot check it out.
This was such a fun and unique wedding! We loved getting to know this couple over the months of working with them. We got to be there for the proposal in Klyde Warren park, then the engagement photos in Downtown McKinney, and finally the wedding out in Longview at The Reserve. We loved how they had girls and guys representing the bride and groom. We LOVED the pie. As a herbal tea fan I could not have loved their test tube herbal tea party favors more. Finally the lavender in the wedding was a great touch. She had dried lavender tossed after the ceremony and her bouquet was lavender. It was so warm when we did the pictures before the ceremony started, but they were troopers. As soon as the ceremony started the storm clouds kicked into gear. It made the whole thing that much more fun. We have the best wishes for this great couple.
We had a great time with Rachel and her Senior photo shoot at the Dallas Athletic Club. We were able to get out to the golf course when the weather was gorgeous. She will be going to Regis University to get her degree in business. Here is a sneak peak of her collection.
We are creating a blog! This is so we can share are fun shoots with the rest of the world. We would love any feedback or questions from any photo shoots. We would also love to use this as a way for you to learn more about each of our team members. We decided to first introduce the youngest member of the team. Taylor Wilson is a little over a year and half and already went on two photo shoots and got her first digital camera. Looking forward to post more in the next couple of weeks!
