The Milestone Mansion Denton Wedding

Sherri & Edward's wedding took place at the gorgeous Milestone Mansion in Denton. They had tied the knot a year before, but the family wanted to be part of the celebration so a formal wedding was put on the books. Sherri was amazing to work with since our first conversation, and we knew that this wedding was going to go wonderfully. From the time they decided to have a formal wedding to the time the wedding came around Sherri & Edward decided to have a little one to add to the family, adding another reason to have a celebration. The ladies got ready downstairs in the bridal suit, while the gentleman relaxed in the awesome groom's quarters. The details of the wedding highlighted elegance and simplicity. They walked down the aisle to live guitar playing, said their I dos, and took time to get pictures together and with the family. Live music and the DJ attracted the group out on the dance floor, and they shared one of the sweetest first dances. For the wedding cake they decided to add a twist and do a gender reveal for their upcoming little one. Everyone got to grab a cupcake, and at the same time take a bite to reveal they would be having a little girl! After some more dancing and spending time with family, they completed the night with a sparkler exit. We hope the very best for this sweet family.

Cross Creek Ranch Wedding

We love getting the opportunity to shoot at Cross Creek Ranch, it is one that never has let us down.  It is family owned & operated and they are always willing to help in every way. It is located in Parker, TX north of Dallas, and has a very secluded feel to it. The wedding party and the bride were great to work with and seemed to enjoy every part of the big day. The atmosphere of the wedding was relaxed from start to finish. It was an evening Friday ceremony, and the colors of the wedding were white on white. For the ceremony we loved that the grandfather played a piece for the newlyweds near the completion of the service.

For dinner they brought in Babes, which is always a favorite of mine. They had one of my favorite guest books hands down, it was a large wooden Texas that everyone had the chance to write a message. The centerpieces were all provided by the venue and looked great! I also loved the kids activity table they set up and that the bride even took a stop at to do some quick coloring. All in all the night went great, and we had a blast!
